Since starting my freelance Textile Design business back in 1993, I have tried to develop and provide a broad and varied range of design styles and patterns, from traditional florals to contemporary geometrics. I love experimenting with new techniques, brushes and papers, then using CAD to create the repeats.
I work with Photoshop, Illustrator and Pantone Colour software to provide production ready files that can be sent straight to the mill.
My wide format printer means I can provide full scale colour prints with all design work so clients can approve colours and scale accurately.
I travel frequently for inspiration, Mexico being a recent highlight, and visit trade shows, Heimtex in Frankfurt and Maison + Objet in Paris regularly.
Because every client is unique, I am happy to chat about what your requirements are, discuss pricing and costs up front, before proceeding. Design work is a collaborative process and I hope by working together we can come up with the best solution to your brief.
As a member of The Design Institute of Australia I believe in upholding the principles of ethical design regarding copyright and professional design practices.
